Notes: This is one of my favorite shows that I ever did. And definitely the highlight of my first two years in radio. Being the guitar fanatic that I am, I just had to do a special show honoring the most amazing guitar gods of classic rock. This turned out to be a four-part series, two parts in this semester, and two parts in the following semester. This was also the very first of my radio shows that I ever recorded.

Check out the playlist. I chose the greatest guitar songs from classic rock that I knew. Freebird was an obvious choice, considering its undying popularity and its three-guitar attack. I made a point of advertising the Yardbirds, spotlighting two of the band's legendary guitarists. I picked some of my favorite exhibitions of Jimi Hendrix's talent, and also of my personal fave guitar god - Jimmy Page. I also gave Pete Townshend his due, among others. And I closed this part with the haunting beautiful instrumental by Santana - Europa.
