Explanation: This song is something of a heavy metal ode to the allure of bondage fashion. Each of the three verses was inspired by a different character from popular culture that wears black leather. I wrote the song based on John Mayall's advice to Peter Green about songwriting, which he used to write the song Black Magic Woman, which turned out to be a hit for Santana. Mayall's advice was to take a specific riff from a song you knew and combine it with a certain image in your mind, and write the song around it. I decided to use a riff from Green's Rattlesnake Shake, and combine it with the image of black leather. Rattlesnake Shake was a proto-metal ode to masturbation, so I decided to make my song a heavy metal ode to bondage fashion.

Lyrics:

chorus:
black leather, you look so good

verse 1:
she's satan's wife, she lusts for life
and you will bleed, so she can feed
eternal night, with a single bite
pale as the moon, this darkly noon

verse 2:
nails like knives, she's got nine lives
dressed in black, her whip will crack
a crazy cat, with a taste for bat
the sweetest breath, a kiss of death

verse 3:
smooth and tight, reflecting light
stiffened nerves, and shiny curves
high heels to heaven, her sins are seven
pain for pleasure, is a wicked treasure
